About

LCH Equestrian was started by two sisters. Both Lisa and Catrina have always had the “bug” for horses and it never left. Their first farm animals were two pygmy goats that they did everything with! They began their education in their local 4H club and then moved onto Groton Pony Club with their ponies. Learning and developing horses through this excellent program, they quickly moved up through the ratings, borrowing and lending horses along the way. They loved working with team-mates and enjoyed the strength and independence this organization fostered. Both girls have developed life long friendships through Pony Club and continue to utilize this network of fellow horsemen(women). After they aged out of Pony Club they went onto to focus on their college studies, but remained involved in the organization on the sidelines as coaches, horse management judges and support staff at rallies. Their pony club foundation serves them well throughout their careers in the equine industry.

Lisa has worked for top trainers throughout The United States and Europe and continues to expand her knowledge. Lisa’s love for dressage has taken her to Europe, working for the famous Hannoverian Verband, Wellington, Florida and now Ocala, Florida. She has had the opportunity to be surrounded with trainers like Ingrid Klimke, Isabell Werth, Carl Hester, Debbie McDonald, Robert Dover, Charlotte Bredahl (and many more) teach and train. Catrina works as a veterinary technician in Ocala, Florida and has followed her dream working with small animals
